The matrix organisational structure is accessible to those on Tillpoint’s Multi-Store subscription plan and can be setup via logging in to the back office where users can create the hierarchical structure that runs their business or organisation.
The hierarchy can be used to establish accountability through chain of command, outlining the company’s channels of authority and decision-making power. Data can be shared or restricted across any site, enabling communal inventory, suppliers, staff, customers and promotions. Centralising information allows for more accurate reporting, granting users an easy and efficient way to access and compare key data and analytics of their various branches and/or businesses.
Access privileges can be set at the business or branch level, limiting the capacity to make adjustments to the system. These changes can relate to stock management, customer data, promotion and loyalty validity, and more. The improved access and data sharing capabilities facilitate better organisational control over simple to intricate business structures.
Tillpoint is available to download for free on the App Store worldwide and is free to use for 30 days while trialling any subscription plan. Requires iOS 8 or later and the newer iPad models are recommended for optimal performance.
