Celebrate National Family Week

Union, NJ, November 20, 2018 --(PR.com)-- National Family Week is November 18-24, 2018 and The Gateway Family YMCA is celebrating family, friends and caregivers. The Gateway Family YMCA urges families to come together this week to spend quality time as a family. The purpose of National Family Week is to celebrate families and promote opportunities of togetherness, which is at the heart of many of the programs offered at the YMCA.

Families are an integral part of the Y, and The Gateway Family YMCA promotes family activities during National Family Week and all year long. “At the Y, we are invested in helping families recognize their potential and providing them with an environment where they feel comfortable and create lasting memories with experiences,” said Krystal R. Canady, CEO of The Gateway Family YMCA. “At the Y, we provide a platform for families to explore their talents through a variety of physical or creative programs and activities,” added Melynda A. Mileski, EVP/COO.

The Gateway Family YMCA provides family programs including Swimming, Open Gym, Family Zumba and Family Yoga, Family Nights and Early Learning Readiness. During National Family Week members are encouraged to bring their family and friends to the Y to share in programs and services offered.
