Abstract

Over the past years, various alternative rates have been crafted to effectively replace the London Interbank Offered Rate (LIBOR). In 2018, the Alternative Reference Rates Committee (ARRC) recommended the Secured Overnight Financing Rate (SOFR) and is now working to promote its widespread adoption.

The transition to SOFR is bound to alter the overall market structure, compelling firms of all sizes to proactively protect their interests and deter potential risk issues. Practitioners must be acquainted with all the recent amendments in order to address the crucial economic, operational and legal consequences of this shift.

Join a panel of key thought leaders and finance professionals assembled by The Knowledge Group as they bring the audience to a road beyond the basics of the myriad of issues surrounding the LIBOR to SOFR transition and as they delve into an in-depth analysis of the current developments involving this shift. Speakers will also provide the audience with best practices and strategies in dealing with the accompanying opportunities and challenges in this rapidly evolving legal climate.

In a live webcast, the speakers will discuss:

LIBOR Transition Guidance: What to Know and Do
Secured Overnight Funding Rate (SOFR): An Introduction
Recent Trends, Developments, and Updates
Potential Risks, Challenges, and Exposure
Key Actions and Significant Considerations
