STAR Servicios Lingüísticos Moves to New Offices

Continuous growth and the desire to provide the best customer service have prompted the relocation.

Barcelona, Spain, April 13, 2008 --(PR.com)-- STAR has just moved into its new premises, after a planning and construction stage of almost two and a half years. The offices, located next to the Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes in the heart of Barcelona, have been designed to accommodate a larger number of employees and departments, and have a technological infrastructure that is even more advanced than that of the company's former facilities.

The premises include a training room with capacity for 15 people, equipped with wireless network-connected PCs. Another substantial technology investment has been the Groupware server, which will host the new GTMS (Groupware Translation Management System), developed in its entirety by the Spanish company. GTMS provides a platform for managing all the resources involved in translation and localisation projects, an open system that will allow the interaction of clients and suppliers. Integrated in the existing Groupware package, it is also sufficiently adaptable to become an ERP/CRM covering the full range of a service provider's business functions.

Pamela Nuñez, director of IT at STAR Servicios Lingüísticos, explains the reasons for the move: "The growth of the Spanish branch of STAR Group made it necessary to relocate to larger, more modern facilities, equipped with cutting-edge technology. This will allow the team of experts that make up the company staff to carry on their daily activities faster and more efficiently, in order to meet the needs of a client base that is becoming larger and more demanding each day."
