Austin Organizing Expert Honored by National Association of Professional Organizers

Austin, TX, April 30, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Barry Izsak, Immediate Past President of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), was honored by its association’s president, Standolyn Robertson, with the 2008 Service to NAPO Award at its annual conference in Reno, Nevada earlier this month. The award was given to Izsak to commemorate his many years of unwavering commitment and dedication to the mission of NAPO – The Organizing Authority.

At a banquet ceremony with over 800 of professional organizers present, President Robertson praised Izsak for his many years of “unselfish, wholehearted loyalty and service to NAPO. His willingness to dedicate so much of his life’s work to NAPO has made him one of this association’s greatest assets,” she said. “Barry has shown us that volunteerism is one of the best ways to become credible and ensure success in the organizing industry.”

On the heels of earning two industry certification credentials in the past year, Certified Professional Organizer (CPO) and Certified Relocation and Transition Specialist (CRTS), 2008 has been a significant milestone in Barry Izsak’s professional organizing career. “I am truly elated to have been honored in such a meaningful way and to have earned the appreciation and respect of my colleagues,” said Izsak. “It is an even greater honor knowing that my efforts have played a significant role in promoting NAPO and heightening awareness of the professional organizing industry.”

This Austin professional organizer is one of only two in the association’s history to be awarded three of its most distinguished awards: Service to NAPO (2008), Founders’ Award (2005) and the President’s Award (2002) and shares that distinction with Barbara Hemphill, the Paper Tiger lady. Mr. Izsak was also recognized at the association’s annual business meeting for eight years of distinguished service on the NAPO Board of Directors.
