Weiman’s 2008 "Maid for a Year" Contest is Revealing Strong Consumer Desires for a Clean Home

Consumers can enter Weiman's “Maid for a Year” contest through July 31 at www.weiman.com/contest.

Chicago, IL, June 04, 2008 --(PR.com)-- What does a clean home mean to consumers? This is precisely what Weiman Products is asking consumers as part of its 2008 “Maid for a Year” Contest. Not surprisingly, more than 80 percent of the 1160 entries already submitted show a strong emotional connection to a clean home.

Reflecting a theme that is consistent across the United States, a California contest entrant says: “The good feeling of clean is knowing that I have taken good care of my family, and that they live in a safe, healthy environment.”

According to Elizabeth Scott, M.S., About.com’s stress management guide, two of the key steps to making and keeping your home a sanctuary are to “clean regularly” and “hire a helper.”

“That’s the whole goal of our contest,” said Carl DeMasi, Weiman Products president and CEO. “We want to help consumers achieve the good feeling of clean while helping a few lucky ones with free maid service for a year.”

Still Time to Enter
It is not too late enter for a chance to win a free maid service for a year.
