First Balkan e-Academy for e-marketing and e-commerce Opens
Sofia, Bulgaria, June 27, 2008 --(PR.com)-- IT companies Design.bg (www.design.bg) of Bulgaria and Netbridge (www.netbridge.ro) of Romania, together with AII Data Processing (www.aiidatapro.com), a provider of information services and business solutions have set up the first centre for professional education in e-marketing and e-commerce on the Balkans, named e-Academy.
“Our idea is to provide education relevant to the dynamically developing technological environment,” said Mr Plamen Russev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of e-Academy. “The project is targeted at business customers and major companies in the IT sector.” e-Academy will create a bank of trained specialists in the field of e-marketing and e-commerce. According to Russev, IT companies on the Balkans have to cope with the same problem: the lack of experienced and skilled developers and specialists.
The e-Academy training programmes will cover topics ranging from e-marketing, to e-business consulting, e-commerce, programming, web design, creating digital content and e-PR. The first training sessions will take place in Bulgaria, but the founders of e-Academy plan to expand across southeastern Europe (SEE).
e-Academy will open in July 2008 with training courses in e-marketing and e-commerce. In the following academic year e-Academy will start semester-based courses for high-school graduates looking for professional development in the IT sector. e-Academy is in the process of establishing partnerships with universities and educational centres in the SEE region. e-Academy will seek to partner with the major SEE companies that want to set up employee scholarship schemes to plan and train their human resources.
