The Park Guide Holds Monthly Breakfast Meeting

April Breakfast Scheduled For Raleigh Executives.

Raleigh, NC, April 21, 2006 --(PR.com)-- The Park Guide, a new quarterly publication highlighting companies in Research Triangle Park (RTP) and the surrounding area, will host a Breakfast in the Park for local executives and business owners on Thursday, April 27 from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Radisson Hotel at 150 Park Drive in the RTP. Dr. Tony Waldrop, Vice Chancellor of Research & Economic Development at UNC, will speak at the event. For reservations call (919) 872-7077.

About Tony Waldrop:
Tony Waldrop is Vice Chancellor for Research and Economic Development and Professor of Cell and Molecular Physiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Waldrop, a Columbus, N.C. native, was a Morehead Scholar receiving an A.B. in Political Science in 1974 and a PhD in Physiology both from the University of North Carolina. Prior to his current position, he was a professor of molecular and integrative physiology and Vice Chancellor for Research at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. At Illinois, he led the development of the University’s Research Park.Dr. Waldrop is also serving currently as President of the Triangle Universities Center for Advanced Studies Incorporated, serves on the Board of Directors for NC IDEA, Kenan Institute, INTRAH and Americans for Medical Progress.
