Sonitrol Pacific Donates $2,200 to Local Crime Stoppers

Seattle, WA, August 09, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Sonitrol Pacific donated $200 to Portland Metro Crime Stoppers, $900 to Puget Sound Crime Stoppers and $1,100 to Tacoma/Pierce County Crime Stoppers in recognition of the 22 apprehension incidents that took place at Sonitrol Pacific protected facilities in the second quarter of 2008.

Every quarter, Sonitrol Pacific donates $100 in recognition of the officers and dispatchers involved in the apprehension of suspects at a Sonitrol Pacific protected site after suspicious activity was detected by the electronic security company.

From April to June, 2008 two apprehension incidents occurred in the Portland Metro area, resulting in the arrest of seven suspects.

During this same time period, 11 apprehension incidents occurred in the Tacoma/Pierce County area. Eighteen individuals were arrested as a result of these Sonitrol Pacific dispatches.

Nine apprehension incidents occurred in the Puget Sound area during the second quarter of 2008, resulting in the arrest of 27 suspects.

In all, 22 Sonitrol Pacific detected incidents netted 52 arrests last quarter. Since 1978, the security company has assisted law enforcement in the apprehension of almost 5,000 suspects.
