The Fairmont Dallas Artist in Residence program features breakthrough artists who live at the hotel and work in its onsite studio for three months. Sean Springer, of Springer Design Studio, the first Artist in Residence of 2011 crafts furniture, home accessories and sculptures from salvaged wood, creating functional pieces from landfill-bound materials. - January 08, 2011
