Eat Local Now! Accepting Nominations for the Jeff Fairhall Local Food Hero Award
Eat Local Now! established the Jeff Fairhall Local Food Hero Award in 2008 in honor of Fairhall, a pioneer in creating organic food that was sold in supermarkets, on airlines and in corporations. Fairhall pushed organic food into the mainstream founding the Essential Sandwich Company and later the Essential Bakery. He passed away in 2007. - September 16, 2011
