Commuters, visitors and shoppers travelling from Vancouver Islands Saanich peninsula, no longer have to rely on BC ferries. The new air service will allow them to soar over the long line ups, increasing fares and slow boats to Vancouver. Gulf Islands Airline, Canadian Float Plane Service Saltspring Air Now Offers More Direct Flights from Vancouver to Gulf Islands Every Day of the Week
Saltspring Air, due to an increasing demand is now offering six (6) direct flights a day between Salt Spring Island and downtown Vancouver and the International Airport. They also provide a scheduled service out of Maple Bay and the Outer Gulf Islands to many destinations.
