Special Theme to Break the Ice at MAST 2009
Starting at this year's annual global conference and trade-show in Stockholm, Sweden, MAST will host - in addition to its established topics - a Special Topic that spotlights a key issue to its host country/region.
Stockholm, Sweden, January 29, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The first of these topics will be "The Arctic – Challenges and Opportunities."
The MAST planning committee is therefore particularly interested to receive papers that contribute thoughts and ideas towards solutions for the Arctic challenges we are face in this changing world, notably:
New strategies and tactics for the civilian and military surface fleets;
Maritime security including monitoring ship traffic, search-and-rescue operations;
Resources and readiness for environmental disasters.
Papers are sought from Operations & Capabilities, Maritime Security, Platforms, Systems and Technology perspectives.
