RiffTrax Announces Chance for Fans to Work with the Stars of Mystery Science Theater 3000

RiffTrax has announced a contest that will reward one talented fan with a $1000 cash prize and the opportunity to produce an official RiffTrax under the tutelage of comedians Michael J. Nelson, Kevin Murphy and Bill Corbett.

San Diego, CA, February 04, 2009 --(PR.com)-- To commemorate the launch of their new iRiffs service, which allows the website's visitors to create and sell their own humorous movie commentaries, RiffTrax is holding a contest to reward their most dedicated fans with the chance of a lifetime: to work with Mike Nelson on a riff of their very own.

Any fan who has submitted an iRiff prior to the contest's February 15th deadline will be eligible for consideration. After that deadline, the ten iRiffs judged to be the highest quality will be sent to an open vote from fans, from which an eventual winner will be chosen. The winner will be provided a stipend of $1000 to work under Mystery Science Theater 3000's Mike Nelson, Kevin Murphy and Bill Corbett to produce a RiffTrax of their very own, with the "Satellite of Love" crew providing guidance and advice along the way. The resulting work will be marketed and sold as an official "RiffTrax Presents."
