Schultz-Creehan’s CEO Nanci Hardwick appointed as Board Member by the New River Valley Economic Development Alliance.

Blacksburg, VA, February 08, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Nanci Hardwick, CEO of Schultz-Creehan LLC, has been selected to join a prominent group of regional economic development and government leaders through her recent appointment to the New River Valley Economic Development Alliance. This select group, comprised of company executives, university presidents, and elected officials, was created to market and advance industry prospects in the New River Valley.

The mission of the New River Valley Economic Development Alliance and its Alliance Board is to improve the quality of life in the New River Valley (NRV) and strengthen its economy. This is primarily accomplished through the recruitment of new businesses and industries, the promotion of local investments, and creation of jobs. As a result of these methods, the New River Valley and its citizens will benefit through advancements in education, healthcare, infrastructure, transportation, and the environment which accompany a strong economy.

As a Board member, Hardwick will play a significant role in shaping the future of the New River Valley (NRV) which will undoubtedly benefit from her expertise. Her achievements include the successful direction of multiple start-up R&D companies in the region, rapidly growing them into profitable, emerging businesses. A long-time Blacksburg resident, Nanci is also a well-known leader in the community through her service with the Literacy Volunteers, Community Impact Program, and the United Way of Montgomery, Radford and Floyd.
