This select group, comprised of company executives, university presidents, and elected officials, was created to market and advance industry prospects in the New River Valley.
The mission of the New River Valley Economic Development Alliance and its Alliance Board is to improve the quality of life in the New River Valley (NRV) and strengthen its economy. This is primarily accomplished through the recruitment of new businesses and industries, the promotion of local investments, and creation of jobs. As a result of these methods, the New River Valley and its citizens will benefit through advancements in education, healthcare, infrastructure, transportation, and the environment which accompany a strong economy.
