Edupoint’s GENESIS™ System Wins Alhambra Elementary School District Contract

Alhambra Elementary School District has awarded a contract for a web-based student information management system to Mesa, Arizona - based Edupoint Educational Systems.

Mesa, AZ, April 01, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Edupoint Educational Systems, an administrative systems solutions provider to the K-12 market, announces the selection of its GENESIS™ school information system by the Alhambra Elementary School District. The district sought a customizable web-based solution to manage all student information and provide easy online access to teachers, students, and parents. On January 30, a contract was awarded for the GENESIS™ system after an extensive evaluation of available solutions.

Rob Wilson, president of Edupoint Educational Systems, announced the award: “Our team did a great job demonstrating for Alhambra ESD why GENESIS™ is the leading student information system. In our second decade of providing innovative solutions to the education market, we understand our customers’ needs and expectations, and designed GENESIS™ to provide the most comprehensive features and functionality in the industry. We welcome Alhambra to our user community.”

The Alhambra Elementary School District, “Where Every Child Has a Star Within,” is a top-rated district in Phoenix, Arizona. Founded in 1888, the district consists of 15 schools that together educate more than 15,600 students in preschool through eighth grades. Each school will access the centralized GENESIS™ student information system across secure connections to easily update and track each student’s schedule, grades, attendance, health records, disciplinary information, and much more. The web-based solution archives data on all students to enable efficient and effective supervision by district management. Robust administrative and reporting tools meet every district need.

“School districts must implement a fully-electronic student records capability,” says Wilson, “if they hope to keep pace with ever-growing regulatory and compliance requirements. Budget constraints also demand that districts become more efficient, and “green” initiatives look to minimize paper use. The GENESIS™ system delivers each of these objectives.”

Edupoint supports a culture of “partnership” in its client relationships. From seeking input on product design to closely teaming with client staff during system implementation and training processes, Edupoint recognizes that customer satisfaction is the only goal for successful companies. Alhambra ESD will launch its GENESIS™ capability in the first quarter of 2009.
