Lavendon Access Services Takes RoSPA Silver

Lutterworth, United Kingdom, April 24, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Lavendon Access Services has been awarded a Royal Society for the Protection of Accidents (RoSPA) Silver Award in recognition of its consistently high standards of Health & Safety at work.

The RoSPA Silver Award provides a means of recognising and celebrating occupational health & safety achievement, and as the UK’s market leader in powered access, further establishes Lavendon Access Services’ dedication to improving Health & Safety.

The RoSPA Awards are not just about reducing the number of accidents and cases of ill health at work; the judging process looked at levels of occupational health and safety management, systems and culture, levels of compliance with control measures for principal risks, and below average and reducing rates of error, harm and loss.

David Rawlins, RoSPA awards manager, said: “Lavendon Access Services has shown a commitment to protecting the Health and well being of its employees and others. Entering the RoSPA Awards reinforces the message that good Health & Safety is good for business, and clearly demonstrates an organisation’s dedication to improving performance in this crucial area.”

The RoSPA Awards Ceremony takes place on Wednesday May 13th, where Chris Wraith, Lavendon Access Services QHSE Manager will be collecting the Award. UK Chief Executive Andy Wright commented: “We are both delighted and proud at winning the RoSPA Silver Award, it reflects the incredible amount of hard work that goes into maintaining the focus and commitment that Lavendon Access Services has towards improving Health & Safety.”
