LawBidding.com Allows Individuals and Businesses to Get Bids on Their Legal Issues

Milwaukee, WI, May 29, 2009 --(PR.com)-- New Website Launched to Assist Individuals and Businesses in finding Legal Help.

LawBidding.com is a new startup website which allows individuals and businesses to post legal issues and attorneys to bid on legal work.

LawBidding.com was launched on Wednesday and is a new way for individuals and businesses to find and retain legal help. The website is free to use and helps connects individuals and businesses with attorneys. By connecting those seeking legal help with those providing these services, LawBidding.com’s goal is to make the process of finding and retaining an attorney more efficient and less expensive.

“It’s a win-win situation,” according to LawBidding.com’s founder Nicholas Cronin, “attorneys get more business and consumers get a chance to obtain bids for their legal work.” Due to the sometimes confidential nature of legal issues, the postings will not contain the identifying or contact information of the individual or business posting. Attorneys who have registered with the site will then be able to browse through projects by type of law, keywords and location. A public and private question thread will allow for communication regarding the issue between the attorney and the potential client.

The attorneys will then be able to submit bids on the postings. The bids can use any of three fee structures: hourly, contingent, or flat fee (all fee structures are further explained on the site). This will allow options for clients beyond the traditional, and often inefficient, hourly fee. The attorney’s profile, which includes their name, location, experience, state bar number, concentrations, profile picture and website, will appear with the bid. The potential client can then select an attorney on whatever criteria that is important to them, whether it be location, experience, or price. Only after the client selects an attorney is the individual’s or business’s identifying and contact information given to that attorney. LawBidding.com is free to use and there is no obligation to select an attorney from the site.
