Bonners Ferry, ID, August 28, 2009 --(
PR.com)-- An effort to publish the 2009 fall schedule of classes for the Classical Learning Resource Center (CLRC) was interrupted by modern day hackers this week online.
Operating under the Orthodox Diocese of Los Angeles, the online school serves the Christian segment of home school cooperatives throughout the nation.
Matthew Gallatin, a well-known Orthodox author (Thirsting for God), said the CLRC website was hacked at the time in which classes for the coming term were being announced. Matthew, also a noted podcaster on Ancient Faith Radio, is spokesperson for the online learning center.
Anne Van Fossen, a Director for CLRC extended the deadline for registration one week explaining that only 2 of the 6 classes offered by the institute remain open.
Interested parents must register their students at http://www.clrchomeschool.com by 12:00 midnight, Sunday September 6, 2009. Prior to the interruption, the deadline was Friday, August 28, 2009.
Each class is limited to (10) students. The 2 remaining classes are Latin I (grade 7 to adult) and Greek I (grade 7 to adult).
Anyone interested may now again register at the website or contact Matthew Gallatin at 208-691-9623.
