AIM Software Continues Expansion with Regional Office in Switzerland

Local service for existing and future customers will be extended.

New York, NY, October 16, 2009 --(PR.com)-- AIM Software, the leading European provider of reference data management solutions to the financial industry, today announced that it has opened a subsidiary in Switzerland to better serve the Swiss market and provide its existing and future customers with an enhanced local service. The new office in Switzerland together with the expansion in Luxembourg is a cornerstone of AIM Software’s growth strategy.

Over the last few years, AIM Software (www.aimsoftware.com) has been facing an increasing demand for financial data management solutions on the Swiss market. To meet this requirement, AIM Software has decided to open a regional office and can now provide its broad customer pool, which includes major institutions such as Pictet & Cie, Zurcher Kantonalbank, Credit Suisse and many others, with an even better and direct local service.

In a first phase, the subsidiary that is managed by Markus Broder will be staffed with two Swiss employees covering the areas of account management and sales, business analysis and project management. In the next few years, the Swiss team is set to grow further with major projects in 2010.

On the basis of a stronger local presence, AIM Software is committed to further increase its golden copy customer pool in the region. GAIN Golden Copy, AIM Software’s flagship product, offers connectivity to 15+ data feeds as well as a strong rule framework to implement business logic for the management of pricing data, static data and corporate actions. One of the major strengths of the system are the industry proven packages for private banking, asset management, fund administration and custody that provide a model parameterization which can substantially reduce implementation time.

"The local office will help us achieve even greater proximity to our clients”, explains Josef Sommeregger Vice Presi-dent Business Development and Sales. “With the decision for Switzerland, we also want to show our commitment to our extensive customer base in the region, being able to offer even faster and more effective project related services.“

“The new regional office is a decisive step in our global growth strategy”, adds Martin Buchberger, Head of Market-ing and Sales. “This expansion will help us to further strengthen our leading position on the Swiss market and to even better serve our existing client base.”
