AZ Women's Shooting Association Brings "Women on Target" to the Valley of the Sun - October 21, 2006

Phoenix, AZ, September 29, 2006 --(PR.com)-- Arizona Women's Shooting Association is proud to host "Women on Target" - a women-only instructional shoot on Saturday, October 21, 2006 at the Ben Avery Shooting Facility in Phoenix AZ.

"Women on Target" is an instructional program designed by, and for, women only.  Whenter you are an experienced shooter or someone who is curious to see what all the noise is about, "Women on Target" will provide you with the tools and instructions you need.  Experienced instructors will guide you through the safe handling of firearms.  A variety of firearms, complete with ammunition, will be available for you to try. Registration fee of $25.00 includes breakfast, ear protection, targets, the use of handguns and ammunition.  

Arizona Women's Shooting Association was formed by women to support and encourage other women to become involved in the shooting sports. Whether your goal is to learn safe gun-handling, hunting, or self-defense, the Arizona Women's Shooting Association wants you to come out an enjoy the company of other women in a safe, supportive environment.

AZWSA meets every other Wednesday evening from 7:00pm - 9:00pm at the Ben Avery Shooting Facility near I-17 and Happy Valley Rd in Phoenix AZ.  Membership is $25.00/yr and range fees are a modest $8.00/night for members.  For more information, call Carol Ruh - 602-571-3886.
