New York, NY, January 01, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Continuing with a day of learning and networking at Distressed Investing Leaders Forum 2010 on February 26th, Craig Noell, CEO and Managing Partner, Signature Capital Partners, will participate at panel "What to Avoid in the World of Distressed Debt Investing". He will be joining more than 20 Distressed Investing experts for an extraordinary gathering of minds that will include an industry-wide networking reception that is expected to attract more than 300 members of the Distressed Investing community in the country.
Mr. Noell is a founder and the Managing Partner of Signature and is a member of its Investment Committee. Prior to forming Signature, he was co-founder and Managing Director of Murphy Noell Capital ("MNC"), an investment bank focused on middle market restructurings where he was involved in over 25 merger transactions and raised over $500 million in capital. Prior to forming MNC, Mr. Noell was a member of the distressed investing area at Goldman Sachs and Company where he founded and ran the Credit Partners Group investing Goldman's proprietary capital in larger restructurings. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Mr. Noell was Senior Vice President at Foothill Capital where he was responsible for numerous financings facilitating the restructuring of large commercial borrowers as well as partnering with third party asset managers (such as Signature) for the acquisition of over $1 billion in distressed loans. Mr. Noell is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
