Dan O'Dwyer of O'Dwyer Homes Elected as President for HomeAid Atlanta for 2010 - 2012

Alpharetta, GA, January 26, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Dan O’Dwyer, President of O’Dwyer Homes was elected as President for HomeAid Atlanta by the Board of Directors for the 2010 – 2012 terms. HomeAid is the designated charity of the Greater Atlanta Homebuilder’s Association and it provides shelters for the temporarily homeless.

Dan has been involved with HomeAid Atlanta for several years. In 2006, he generously served as HomeAid’s Builder Captain for The Drake House project, renovating 16 apartments for homeless families in Roswell, GA. He later joined HomeAid’s Board of Directors in 2009.

Dan received his degree in Construction Management from Michigan State University. He is one of Atlanta’s premier home builders. Dan is currently on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Home Builders as well as the GAHBA’s Board of Directors. He is also an active member of the Certified Professional Home Builder program.

Dan and his wife Kathy reside in Woodstock, GA and are the proud parents of two children, Meghan and Brendan, who both attend Auburn University.
