PR.com)-- During May, 23-26 2010, the European Countries of the International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) will organise the 7th bi-annual European Systems Engineering Conference (EuSEC 2010) in Stockholm, Sweden. The theme for EuSEC 2010 is “Systems Engineering and Innovation”, addressing the expanding scope of Systems Engineering application and responsibility in all kind of industries. Examples of this expanding scope are addressed in the strength of Systems Engineering in its traditional home of aerospace and defence, and in its growing application in complex consumer and industrial systems, transportation, medical care and water management.
The EuSEC is the foremost conference on Systems Engineering in Europe, gathering delegates from Norway to South Africa and UK to Russia to participate in three days of presentations, case studies, workshops, and panel discussions. The program attracts professionals, researchers and educators from industry, government and academia. It is hosted by the Swedish Chapter of INCOSE, with the support of INCOSE Region III, which includes the European nations, Turkey, Israel, South Africa and Russia.
For the opening plenary session Dr. Gunnar Hult, will deliver a speech about “Innovations and Systems Engineering aspects of military and security systems development”. Dr. Hult is the Deputy Swedish National Armaments Director and Chief Scientist at the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration. Furthermore he is an adjunct professor at the Swedish National Defence College.
