Nation's First Immigration TV Network Launches in Houston

Houston, TX, February 19, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Inmigrante TV, the nation’s first television network dedicated to immigration issues, has launched in the greater Houston area on Channel 61.2. The Spanish-language channel will become a hub of news about immigration topics, offering an alternative source of information and analysis from the more mainstream networks. It is heavily targeted at Hispanic immigrant communities.

Created by well-known Texas immigration attorney Manuel Solis, Inmigrante TV is quickly becoming a one-stop source of immigration news for the Hispanic community. The network hopes to give faith to those who are affected by the current immigration laws, keeping them informed of everything that might alter the immigration policy outlook. Inmigrante TV will offer immigration news, events, and viewpoints, as well as changes, announcements, and analysis of new laws as they are announced.

Giving the channel its personality is Roberto Repreza, a veteran Hispanic networks news anchor who is the face and voice of Inmigrante TV. Having been an anchor for both the Univision and the Telemundo news, Repreza leads his experienced news team to bring forward the potential of the network.

“We want to keep the immigrant community informed about the latest laws and issues that will be affecting them. As immigrants, they already have much to worry about, so we want to give them hope to look forward to,” says Repreza, an El Salvador native and an immigrant himself.

Inmigrante TV is also available online at their official website, www.inmigrantetv.com.
