Clarence, CA, February 28, 2010 --(PR.com)-- On March 3, 2010 the Michelle’s Angel’s Foundation (MAF) will celebrate its 2nd Annual Gentlemen... Hug Your Brides Day, observed each year on the first Wednesday of March to commemorate Michelle Knoll’s passing of pancreatic cancer in 2008 along with the need to remind all men that they should cherish God’s gift of their brides.
In honor of this special day, the MAF is making available a free download of Nashville singer-songwriter Ken Harrell’s new recording, “You Can Count On Me.” The MAF Music Director, Harrell, has placed his magic touch on a love song which is sure to become the favorite for many couples around the world. The public may download the song at no charge at www.michellesangels.com.
In addition, MAF is expanding the commemorative event to include a contest where men and women submit a “Verbal Hug” to a loved one – bride, husband or significant other – and win a six-month posting of their Verbal Hug on the Michelle’s Angels website, a Michelle’s Angels Certificate commemorating their expression of love and a fifty dollar gift card.
Between March 3 and April 15, 2010, entrants may submit a “Verbal Hug” of 200 words or less describing what their special person (bride, husband or significant other) means to them and why they love them. The Verbal Hug, along with contact information, is then emailed to the Michelle’s Angels Foundation. Three first place prizes will be awarded--one for each category of bride, husband or significant other. Each will be posted to the Michelle’s Angels website for a period of six months following the judging of the contest.
There is no fee to participate. Contestants are limited to no more than one Verbal Hug submission. The entrant must include the following information about themselves: name, phone number with area code, email address, postal address, name of person they are hugging and their relationship. In addition include the person’s phone number with area code, email address, postal address, along with the 200 words or less Verbal Hug about them. Email this information to the attention of Gerald Odom at Gerald@MichellesAngels.com.
Winners will be announced on the Michelle’s Angels website. People are encouraged to share this opportunity with family and friends. The decision of the judges is final. All submittals become the property of the Michelle’s Angels Foundation, Inc. The use of the submittals in the normal course of business conducted by the Michelle’s Angels Foundation will be done at the Foundation’s sole discretion and without limitation. Contestant’s submittals will not be sold to any third parties for any reason without the expressed written permission of the contestants.
