Nouveau: Pick-Up Artist

Erie, PA, May 14, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Erie Art Museum’s newest party series for 20-40 somethings, Nouveau, is mixing it up with Pick-Up Artists on Friday, May 21 from 6-8 p.m. at the Erie Art Museum, 411 State Street.

Create your own 5-minute art or “pick up” some local talent to create unique art just for you. Tour the 87th Annual Spring Show in the Main Gallery and explore works by artists in the surrounding region.

“We’ve partnered with some of Erie’s finest local artists to give interactive art demos. Everyone can try their hand at the creation process with experts on hand to guide them,” said event organizer, Carolyn Eller.

Live music, tasty nibblers, a donation bar and a dose of new – Nouveau is less like a field trip, more like a night out.

Live music and drink specials for Nouveau attendees at the Molly Branigans after party at 8 p.m. Free for Erie Art Museum; $8 for non-members. Young Erie Professionals members receive $2 off.
