Dream Town Welcomes Chicago Real Estate Agent as Part of O'Connor/Hebson Group

He was brought into the firm as part of the company's newly formed O'Connor/Hebson Group. The group is headed up by two top-performing Chicago agents who also made the transition to Dream Town this spring. Mr. Smith will work out of the company's Lincoln Square location, which will be operational later in the year.

Mr. Smith is one of seven realtors who came to Dream Town this May with the O'Connor/Hebson Group. He has been in real estate his entire life (born into a family business) and practiced for years in Indiana before moving to Chicago.

"I was actually a real estate baby. Much of my family is involved in the industry or related activities, so for me it was a natural path to take," said Mr. Smith, whose father was an influential broker in Lebanon, Indiana and mother a prominent agent in Zionsville, Indiana. "I was always around real estate and became familiar with the procedures at a young age. I got my license when I was 18 and have a lot of experience under my belt now. I've seen the highs and lows of the market and know how to handle the endless hurdles associated with this line of work."

During his college years, as a member of Indiana University's real estate club, Mr. Smith was affiliated with a top-producing team that counseled buyers and sellers in all sorts of real estate transactions. He started his career at the firm his uncle owned and operated. He then relocated to Chicago and started exploring various brokerages in the area. His research led him to Dream Town, an innovator in web marketing and real estate technology. Mr. Smith joined the company in May under the O'Connor/Hebson name.
