InfraGard was started by the FBI 14 years ago as an alliance between it and the private sector to provide interface with the Bureau and the leaders and experts of this country’s critical infrastructure. It has grown to include over 40,000 vetted members in 86 members alliances across the country.

Allan Berg from Maryland and Sheri Donahue from Kentucky were elected to the Board of Directors at the organization’s annual Congress. INMA Chairman Dr. Kiernan said “We have an incredible team of leaders in this organization. Sheri, Allan and Rich all have incredible amounts of experience working at both the national level as well as within our members alliances. They will continue to bring the energy to the Board that is required to improve our nation’s critical infrastructure. I’m also confident that Karla and Joe will prove to be strong additions to our management team.”

Dyann Bradbury remarked that “the organization has had an incredibly successful year having grown our membership significantly, executed a partnership with the FBI and DHS resulting in dozens of programs around the country, created an excellent new strategic plan for the organization, and many more activities that position us for continued success.”

Shawn Henry, Executive Assistant Director of the FBI’s Criminal, Cyber, Response and Services Branch stated “The FBI continues to believe that public/private partnerships are a key component of our national security efforts. For this reason, we are especially grateful for the selfless, voluntary efforts of our 40,000 InfraGard members, and the time commitment made by them, and in particular the officers and directors of the InfraGard national and local Members Alliances. I am proud to see that once again this year, InfraGard continues to draw the finest leadership.”

The Board recognized David McIntyre and Michael Dahn for their services as their terms expired. They also wished Donna Bucella well as she left the Board of Directors to take a position within the Department of Homeland Security.

About InfraGard and the InfraGard National Members Alliance
The InfraGard Program began in 1996 as a collaborative effort between private sector cyber professionals and the FBI field office in Cleveland Ohio. The FBI later expanded the program to every field office in the country. In 2003 the private sector members of InfraGard formed the “InfraGard National Members Alliance” (INMA). The INMA is a non-profit Delaware LLC with 501(c)3 status. The INMA LLC is comprised of 86 separate 501(c)3 InfraGard Members Alliances (IMAs) that represent over 40,000 FBI-vetted, InfraGard Subject Matter Experts. The INMA has a dual-focus value proposition. It provides its members with unmatched opportunities to promote the physical and cyber security of their organizations through access to a trusted, national network of Subject Matter Experts from the public and private sectors. And, it provides government stakeholders, across the local, state, and Federal levels, with unmatched access to the expertise and experience of critical infrastructure owners and operators.
