Cutting-Edge Company Rises as the Newest Addition to Adult Sex Education in Atlanta

Ms. Stewart and her team specialize in a wide variety of topics and provide numerous services including workshops tailored especially for groups and age specific learning. “What makes us different is that we amalgamate academics with various somatic techniques to achieve a full understanding of how we perceive our bodies, as well as others,” says Ms. Stewart.

Marla Renee Stewart is the Executive Director of Velvet Lips, LLC. She is a sex, intimacy and relationship coach and educator. She has studied human sexuality for more than ten years at both San Francisco State University and Georgia State University. Her published works include articles in the Journal of African-American Studies (2008) as well as Black Sexualities (2010). She has conducted workshops for conferences, not-for-profit and private organizations in the Atlanta area in hopes of encouraging honest dialogue about sex and sexuality.
