Rod Hartwick Joins Xena Vallone Realty in Sarasota, Florida

Sarasota, FL, March 06, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Rod Hartwick, a Sarasota area Realtor for eight years, has joined Xena Vallone Realty Inc. Formerly a jockey and owner of a horse-breeding farm, he will focus on equestrian estates and boating properties. He is a graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI), an e-Pro, and holds the At Home with Diversity certification.

A Michigan native, Hartwick was a veterinarian for 48 years, counting among his patients the thoroughbred racehorse, Secretariat. He is credited with inventing a procedure to humanely declaw cats using laser technology. The son of a professional football player, Hartwick was himself an athlete, and played in the 1955 Rosebowl for Michigan State.
