Ceramic Art Summer Camp Programs at Lakeside Pottery Ceramic School & Studio, Stamford, CT

Lakeside Pottery / Ceramic Art Summer Camp programs are designed to provide children and teens with the experience of an actual professional pottery studio.

Stamford, CT, April 05, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Lakeside Pottery / Ceramic Art Summer Camp programs are designed to provide children and teens with the experience of an actual professional pottery studio. During each weekly program, the students will learn to use the potters wheel, learn handbuilding / sculpting techniques and glaze all of their projects that they will accomplish during the program. The projects are fun and creative and will be taught by accomplished artist / teachers. No prior ceramics experience is required. Sessions begin June 27, 2011.

Lakeside Pottery's children programs were evaluated and are now offered by Darien and Stamford education departments and Stamford Museum & nature Center. We service all surrounding towns.

Students can enroll in one or multiple weeks. Snack (ages 8-11 only), material & firing fees included. $275 a week ($295 if adding toolset).

Lakeside Pottery is a ceramic art and craft educational resource for the community focusing on clay art.

Learn the art of pottery through Lakeside Pottery's ceramic art classes, using the potters wheel and ceramic sculpting, in a professional, spacious and well lit studio centrally located in Stamford, CT.

Instruction activities for children, adults and seniors include group classes (beginners and advanced), private lessons, after school art for kids programs and summer camp. Open Studio time can be purchased for independent work.
