Norwalk Exchange Club Strengthens America Through Volunteer Award

Norwalk, CT, April 20, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Exchange Club of Norwalk will meet at 7p.m. on Wednesday (05/18/11) at the Norwalk Inn and Conference Center on East Avenue.

Now is the time to celebrate the unsung heroes in our community who often go unrecognized. The Exchange Club of Norwalk is honoring a Norwalk resident with the Book of Golden Deeds Award. William Gardella Sr. is being presented with this honor as a result of his volunteer efforts.

The Book of Golden Deeds Award is an Exchange Club program that honors a worthy person or group that continuously donates time, talent and energy to help those in need. Many times, fine citizens of our community do numerous good deeds that go unnoticed. This award is designed to honor these unsung heroes.

Exchange, America’s Service Club, is a group of men and women working together to make our communities better places to live through programs of service in Americanism, Community Service, Youth Activities, and its national project, the Prevention of Child Abuse.
