Information on 2011 Oregon Trail Rally
Drivers from the U.S. and Europe return to Portland and the Columbia River Gorge for the Oregon Trail Rally, Round 4 of the Rally America Championship, May 13-15th, 2011. The Oregon Trail Rally is considered one of the most challenging races drivers will face because of the unyielding and tortuous nature of the forestry roads in the gorge and the erratic Northwest weather. As rally racing continues to grow in popularity across the country Dick Hannah Subaru is proud to sponsor this new exciting Northwest tradition.

On Friday, May 13th Dick Hannah Subaru kicks off the race with 17 timed competitive special stages at Portland International Raceway (PIR), the heart of the Portland motorsports scene. Then on Saturday and Sunday, May 14-15th, the rally moves east of Portland taking drivers onto the back roads of the Columbia River Gorge for the special racing stages. Oregon Trail Rally Chairman Matt Tabor is excited about returning to this scenic area of the state. “Each year we continue to grow and improve our event, making it a competitor and fan favorite while providing an economic benefit to the local community. We want to thank the people and county officials in Hood River and Wasco Counties for their continued support for our rally.”

The Pacific Northwest boasts some of the most rugged terrain the world over and Dick Hannah Subaru is proud to present heart pounding racing on the most difficult roads this area has to offer to our community and fans and drivers traveling here for the Oregon Trail Rally.
