Business Consulting Solutions Raises Money for Operation Smile
Business Consulting Solutions works closer to their fundraising goal with Operation Smile through a Charity Casino night with local businesses.
Rancho Cucamonga, CA, May 14, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Members of Business Consulting Solutions will attend a Charity Casino in Thousand Oaks, Saturday, May 21, to raise money for Operation Smile. The company is almost halfway to their fundraising goal and expects their participation in Saturday’s event to help them come even closer.
Business Consulting Solutions, a sales and marketing firm located in Rancho Cucamonga, has been in business for over 7 years. Founded in Ohio, the company has expanded to over 10 locations across the United States. As the company has expanded, they have found a passion for giving back to the community.
One charity in particular, Operation Smile, has been a main focus of their philanthropic efforts over the last year. Business Consulting Solutions was first introduced to Operation Smile by a colleague who was able to travel with the organization on a mission to South America. The stories of profound change Operation Smile was able to bring so many children who were otherwise helpless was so moving, the management team at Business Consulting Solutions decided to set a fundraising goal.
“Since becoming involved with Operation Smile in the past year, it has been exciting to see how the team has rallied together to make such a large impact in such a short period of time. I think it just goes to show what kind of influence we are capable of if we work together as a team towards a goal. I am proud of the team. Although, it is not surprising for me to see their achievements within the community, since they bring that same passion to achieving their goals in the company,” explains Ken Lear, President of Business Consulting Solutions.
The charity event will be a night of poker, contests raffles set up for members of the local community, local businesses and family and friends. There is a $10 cover at the door, a $20 buy-in, and a $20 re-buy. There will be a costume contest and several donated prizes. The winner of the casino night will get all the proceeds donated under their name to Operation Smile.
