American Chef Daniel Lentz Prepares Traditional Dishes for Thanksgiving Day at Presidente InterContinental Cozumel Resort & Spa

Cozumel, Mexico, October 12, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Americans traveling to the sunny beaches of Cozumel this Thanksgiving won’t have to give up the traditional holiday flavors of turkey, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie.

Presidente InterContinental Cozumel Resort & Spa’s executive chef Daniel Lentz has put the finishing touches on a Thanksgiving menu for guest dining at El Caribeño, the resort’s open-air restaurant overlooking the Caribbean waters.

An abundance of delicious choices include slow braised beef, roast turkey, baked sea bass, imported cheeses, smoked salmon, cranberry sauce, a fresh salad bar, winter squash bisque, deviled eggs, sweet potatoes, seafood salad and more.

Thanksgiving dinner isn’t complete until you’ve enjoyed a slice of pumpkin pie with Jack Daniels whipped cream or other desserts such as tres leches cake, chocolate-glazed profiteroles and German chocolate cake.

The resort’s Thanksgiving buffet is available Thursday, November 24 from 6 – 10 p.m. Pricing starts at $390 pesos per person and includes value-added tax.

Room rates over Thanksgiving weekend start at US$275. For reservations, call toll free from the USA (800) 327-0200 or visit www.InterContinentalCozumel.com.
