David B. Tillman, MD, MPH, joins Partners in Care Foundation in the position of Chief Medical Officer effective September 1, 2011. “It is an honor to join the Partners team and work with June Simmons during this time of transformative change in our health care system. Today more than ever providers of health care services are focusing on care that is provided in the community and Partners is ideally positioned to implement and evaluate new models. I expect these will lower costs, enhance satisfaction, and most important improve clinical outcomes,” notes Dr. Tillman.

“Having Dr. Tillman join us at this point in our evolution, signals the dynamic growth and expansion opportunities Partners is experiencing. Partners is poised to bring even greater expertise to the field, broaden our impact, and shape the future of health care,” says Partners’ Board Chair, Seth Ellis.
