IMC Receives Key Government Contract Vehicle Renewal

Dulles, VA, February 10, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Innovative Management Concepts, Inc. (IMC), a systems engineering and information technology (IT) company, has been awarded a five-year renewal of their Veterans Technology Services (VETS) Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) following a successful five-year base period that ended in early 2012. A GWAC is a pre-competed, multiple-award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract that federal government agencies can use to buy products and services.

VETS is a small business set-aside GWAC that provides access to IT solutions such as systems design, software engineering, information assurance, and enterprise architecture solutions from a qualified, diverse pool of service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses. With a $5 billion program ceiling and a five-year base period with one five-year option, VETS provides the opportunity for government agencies to do long-term planning of large-scale program requirements while strengthening opportunities for service-disabled, veteran-owned small businesses.

As a prime contractor for VETS GWAC, IMC has provided IT services and solutions for a variety of federal agencies, including the U.S. Departments of Defense, Treasury, Transportation, Veterans Affairs (VA), and the General Services Administration. IMC partners with a variety of teammates in these efforts, many of whom are also veteran-owned or service disabled, veteran-owned businesses. The majority of the thirteen task orders IMC has won on the VETS GWAC to date support the Army and the VA. IMC’s current task orders are funded at $35M and total expected funding on the current task orders exceeds $50M.

IMC’s CEO, Robert Might, stated that, “The VETS GWAC base period was a huge boost for IMC and allowed us, along with our VETS GWAC teammates, to take proven and practical solutions developed for Department of Defense agencies and expand them into the larger federal space. This VETS GWAC renewal will allow us to continue on that path, offering innovative and budget-friendly solutions to more government agencies while continuing to be a reliable source of IT services for our existing federal customers.”

IMC’s GSA Vets GWAC Contract Number is GS-06F-0529Z. IMC is a prime contractor for the VETS GWAC in Functional Area 1 (Systems Operations and Maintenance) and Functional Area 2 (Information Systems Engineering). The five-year renewal will keep IMC as a prime contractor for VETS GWAC until February of 2017. Specific IMC VETS GWAC information can be found at www.imcva.com/gwac.html.
