About Richard M. Berry
Richard M. Berry is the Founder, Chair and Treasurer of Rembco Geotechnical Contractors. Dr. Berry’s expertise is in soil remediation and concrete rehabilitation. He is a Distinguished Teacher in the State of Tennessee and the recipient of the Engineer of the Year award from the American Society of Civil Engineers. Dr. Berry holds the active US Patent #6,659,691 concerning seismic shock mitigation. Dr. Berry received a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from MI Tech University, a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from the University of Tennessee, an M.B.A. from Alexander Hamilton Institute and a Ph.D. in Engineering Management from Heritage International University. Dr. Berry was the Development Manager for Lundy Environmental and Project Manager for the first drinking water quality purification unit that was installed for full scale testing on a U.S. Coast Guard cutter. He was First Lieutenant and Company Commander of a U.S. Army Chemical Corps mortar unit and Superintendent of the Filling and Testing department at the U.S. Army’s top secret nerve gas plant. Dr. Berry is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. In his free time he enjoys traveling.
