ADR Firm’s Allocation Attorney Renee Henderson Leads Pack on Track

Pharmaceutical, Medical Device Litigation Attorney Leads Corodemus & Corodemus ADR Allocation Practice While Setting World and National Records on the Track

Iselin, NJ, April 21, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Former trial lawyer Renee Henderson, Of Counsel at New Jersey alternative dispute resolution (ADR) firm Corodemus & Corodemus, L.L.C., on March 16, 2012, ran to victory at the USA Masters Indoor Track & Field Championships in Bloomington, Ind. Henderson, who holds five world championship titles, 20 national championship titles and indoor and outdoor national track records at several distances, placed first in her age group in both the 60-meter and 200-meter dashes.

An experienced litigator who has handled complex civil litigation matters for both plaintiffs’ and defense practices, Henderson heads the allocation portion of Corodemus & Corodemus’ comprehensive ADR practice. Her area of concentration is pharmaceutical settlements, from which she – together with Corodemus & Corodemus Managing Partner Judge Marina Corodemus (Ret.) – calculates suggested individual settlement amounts for mass tort plaintiffs. Collectively, the Corodemus & Corodemus allocation team has made allocation recommendations among hundreds of parties in many leading mass tort liability cases.

“Renee is a superb ADR professional,” stated Judge Corodemus. “We not only appreciate her informed allocation expertise, but are proud to have a national and world championship runner in our midst. Whether she is wearing dress shoes or running shoes, Renee is ahead of the pack.”

A pharmaceutical representative turned attorney, Henderson began her legal career as an associate in the Philadelphia office of a large defense firm, where she worked on a number of single-plaintiff, class action and coordinated cases for a variety of clients, including pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, industrial product manufacturers, insurance companies and financial institutions. She then clerked for Judge Corodemus, who served as New Jersey’s sole mass tort judge for more than 10 years, before joining a New York-based plaintiffs’ firm for which she handled drug and medical device matters. As a plaintiffs’ lawyer, she also worked with the non-profit Trial Lawyers Care, Inc., securing a million-dollar settlement from the Victim Compensation Funds for a New York City Fire Department officer injured during the Sept. 11 tragedy. Henderson joined Corodemus & Corodemus in 2008, with more than a decade of experience as a trial lawyer.

“The dedication and focus that are required of successful runners are also prerequisites for the sound practice of law, whether as a trial lawyer, an ADR neutral or a judge,” said Henderson. “I am proud to be a member of an ADR firm in which each professional approaches our work with a singular determination to achieve fair and measured results.”

Henderson ranks second on the All-Time World List of women runners ages 45 to 49. Nationally, she is the women’s 45 to 49 record holder in the indoor 60-, 200- and 400-meter events. She also holds the national record for her age category in the outdoor 100- and 200-meter dashes. She has won numerous indoor and outdoor world championships at 60, 100 and 200 meters. In 2007, she ran on the world record-setting 4x400-meter master’s relay team with former Olympian Jearl Miles Clark; the team’s record stands today.

In addition to being a formidable runner and a key member of the Corodemus & Corodemus allocation team, Henderson is married and the mother of three girls, all of them athletes.
