The Time Has Come for Those Who Have Vitiligo to Feel Loved for Who They Are And for the World to Understand Vitiligo

A call to all who suffer from vitiligo, and/or their loved ones, to have their story published in a book which will reach out to everyone with vitiligo and assure them that they are not alone in their suffering and that life can be beautiful.

St. Louis, MO, June 14, 2007 --(PR.com)-- For 12 years, Nathalie Pelletier has had vitiligo, a skin condition in which pigmentation diminishes. In an effort to blend the de-pigmented areas of her skin, she worked with a chemist to develop a natural sunless tanning lotion; the results were so dramatic, she began selling it online internationally.

“My biggest surprise was that I would receive emails from my customers telling me about the hardships in dealing with having vitiligo,” says Nathalie. “Since then, I've come to realize that many people around the world have vitiligo but the general population has no idea what it is or how to respond to it and in turn, many with this skin condition feel alone, misunderstood, and depressed.”

Nathalie, an online publisher and single mother of 3, is writing a book called "Vitiligo Stories". It reads a bit like 'Chicken Soup for the Soul' in that it is a collection of personal stories by people with vitiligo; their hardships, their loneliness, and their triumphant path to a positive self-image.

If you would like to be a part of this vitiligo outreach and share your story in the book, Nathalie is accepting stories approximately 700-1500 words in length via email. For more information on how you can participate or if you wish to purchase the book, you may contact Nathalie by email: nathalieheembrock@hotmail.com
