Boys & Girls Club of Burbank and Greater East Valley Opens Two New Locations

Boys & Girls Club of Burbank and Greater East Valley begins new partnership with the County of Los Angeles in La Crescenta, CA and Our Lady of the Holy Rosary School in Sun Valley, CA.

Burbank, CA, July 01, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The Boys & Girls Club of Burbank and Greater East Valley is starting a partnership with the County of Los Angeles’ Parks and Recreation Department and Our Lady of the Holy Rosary School.

In partnership with the County of Los Angeles’s Department of Parks and Recreation, the new location will be at Crescenta Valley Park in La Crescenta. The facility includes a recreation center, basketball courts, playgrounds, baseball fields, and large green park lands. The Boys & Girls Club program will include tutoring and homework assistance, Triple Play (Athletic programs), Junior Achievement, Money Matters, Youth for Unity, and BE GREAT Graduate. The Program will be open from 2pm-6pm Mondays – Fridays, for elementary and middle school students in La Crescenta.

In partnership with Our Lady of the Holy Rosary School, a new location will be on their campus. The facility includes classrooms, a library, computer lab, and playground areas. Programs offered at the new location will include tutoring and homework assistance, Triple Play (athletic programs), Junior Achievement, Money Matters, and Youth for Unity, BE GREAT Graduate, Technology classes, and creative arts. Programs will be open from 2pm-6pm Mondays – Fridays, for students attending Our Lady of the Holy Rosary School.

The two new locations are in addition to the 3 Middle Schools, 11 Elementary Schools and one Main Club facility The Boys & Girls Club currently operates. Over 1,500 youth a day are expected to be served starting Fall 2012.
