Birmingham, AL, July 10, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Rotorcraft Pro Media Network (RPMN) announces new owners Brig Bearden (Publisher) and Lyn Burks (Editor In Chief). The duo has been making changes and their enthusiasm grows along with their roots in the company. As equal owners, their goal is to provide the helicopter community a comprehensive media network that is informative, tech savvy, entertaining and timely. Further, their mission is to be a trusted and reliable media partner to industry suppliers and consumers.

Bearden And Burks Bring Time-Tested Experience To The Industry:

Publisher - Brig Bearden has been in the publishing industry since 1987, performing many roles including publisher, officer of a large corporation and entrepreneur. In his corporate role, he was responsible for over 20 titles and 150 employees. He left the corporate world to build his own media business from 1997 to 2011, which resulted in publishing titles for the electric utility industry and road construction industry. During this time, he also owned a graphic design company that provided custom publishing services for 10 monthly magazines.

Editor In Chief - Lyn Burks is the 2012 winner of the Helicopter Association International Salute to Excellence in Communications Award. His flying experience includes ENG, EMS and Corporate. His past experience also includes serving on a flight-training contract with the Chinese Government. In addition, he has spent the last decade developing industry-leading websites (Justhelicopters.com and Verticalreference.com). Lyn has also been recognized as an industry leader for his professional development seminars, Nightcon and HeliSuccess. In fact, HAI has once again contracted Lyn to present HeliSuccess at HeliExpo 2013.

With their transition into ownership, Burks and Bearden are working to ensure that RPMN customers are served with the professionalism they expect from a media partner. Recent improvements include:

· RPMN Mailing List - A complete update of the RPMN mailing list with latest FAA filings of helicopter owners, pilots, MRO’s, private industry, aviation training centers, OEM’s and suppliers. RPMN utilizes a service for tracking FAA updates that has been in business for 30 years and the list is meticulously updated monthly.

RPMN Audited By ABC – RPMN is a member of the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC). The initial audit of the June issue is scheduled for completion by mid July.

RPMN Editorial Content – As Editor In Chief, Lyn Burks brings a unique outlook to the RPMN network with his use of video to complement feature stories. His duties as a professional pilot afford him constant contact with top industry experts, relevant industry news, products and services. In his commitment to excellence, he has developed new features, new columns and is introducing new writers to the RPMN staff.
