The Eastern Mountain Sports® Facebook® promotion takes place July 16 through August 5. The contest allows participants to upload a personal photo about conquering their biggest outdoor challenge onto the Eastern Mountain Sports’ Facebook® page, in order to win one of 10 EMS Daypacks as tough as the winning entrants. At the completion of the contest, 10 Back-to-School Eastern Mountain Sports brand daypacks built with durable CORDURA® fabric will be given away. The winners will be announced on August 6, 2012*.

“This year we have two new styles to round out our collection of packs made with CORDURA® fabric,” said Wes Green, product manager of camping at Eastern Mountain Sports. “We chose CORDURA® fabric because we believe it is the most durable on the market and our customers deserve a daypack construction that will stand up to everything from the classroom to the backcountry.”

Eastern Mountain Sports creates high-capacity daypacks offering the exceptional versatility and durability that distinguishes CORDURA® fabric. With the inclusion of CORDURA® fabrics in the body, these packs deliver exceptional resistance and durability needed to survive all day, everyday wear and tear. The rugged shells and well-organized interiors make these packs an ideal choice for outdoor adventures and daily use alike.

“The CORDURA® brand team constantly strives to meet the needs of durable people who push their own limits, and above all we design our fabrics to last,” said Cindy McNaull, global CORDURA® brand and marketing director. “This year we are celebrating our 45th anniversary. We are excited to collaborate with Eastern Mountain Sports to take their latest collection of durable daypacks ‘Back-to-School’.”
