Promoter Sends Children's Groups to Taylor Hicks Concert

Concert promoter sends children from Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Girls Inc to Taylor Hicks concert.

Hagerstown, MD, July 05, 2007 --(PR.com)-- When Taylor’s Angels, a fan based charity for Taylor Hicks, approached Bruce Torres of Cabana Cove Productions for concert ticket donations, they had no idea what a heart of gold he had. Bruce provided Taylor’s Angels with the initial request of 20 tickets for the Big Brothers/ Big Sisters to attend Taylor Hicks’ concert on July 6 at The Maryland Theater in Hagerstown, MD. But he was so inspired that he continued his act of kindness and then donated 40 tickets to the local Girls, Inc. Bruce personally met with both organizations and found that the children are very excited about attending the show.

“All of these organizations are very grateful to be part of something this special. I think Taylor Hicks will be proud to know that his event is responsible for aiding so many worthwhile causes.” said Torres. “ I am thrilled to be a small part of that. I am so thankful Taylor’s Angels contacted us. When the game of life is over, he who touches the most people wins. Taylor is scoring big in Hagerstown.” he added.

Taylor's Angels, located at taylorsangels.blogspot.com, was formed in January 2007 to help Soul Patrol fans who could not afford to become members of the Taylor Hicks Official Headquarters or buy tickets to his concerts. They also promote Taylor Hicks within the communities in which he is performing by donating concert tickets to charitable organizations and the military. Cabana Cove Productions, owned by Bruce Torres, is inaugurating their company with Taylor Hicks’ concert on July 6 at The Maryland Theater at 7:30 pm.
