The D-Word - Divorce Through a Child's Eyes Book Release

Tara Eisenhard releases her debut novel, The D-Word - Divorce Through a Child's Eyes.

Harrisburg, PA, October 26, 2012 --(PR.com)-- “The D-Word” Allows Parents to Experience Divorce from a Child’s Perspective

A new book from author Tara Eisenhard offers adults a view of how children interpret the events of a divorce. The D-Word recounts a year-long journey of divorce through the eyes of a twelve-year old girl.

The D-Word: Divorce Through a Child’s Eyes is the debut novel of Tara Eisenhard. Through real-life examples, the D-Word addresses critical issues and aims to provide divorcing parents with useful insight into how their actions shape reality for their children.

A divorce coach and self-proclaimed student of divorce, the author hopes to bring a new perspective to those looking for information about transitioning their families through a separation. “The market is flooded with self-help books about this topic,” said Eisenhard. “And many of them are quite good. But I wanted to do something different. I wanted to offer parents a glimpse into their children’s experience.”

In a recent review, divorce mediator David Zoll stated, “Divorcing parents and their families should read this so that they have a perspective on what it means when someone says, or thinks to themselves, ‘think of the kid(s)’.” He went on to say, “Divorce and parenting plan mediators … should read this to be reminded of the value of child-focused mediations.”

The D-Word paperback retails for $13.95 and is also available in hardcover and eBook format. It can be purchased through various online retailers and ordered at local booksellers.
