Make the Most of Your Exhibition Marketing, Make Sure You Make MAST 2007

Genoa, Italy, August 01, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Whether your business depends on submarine, surface, defense and/or security contracts, MAST is a must for your exhibition calendar.

MAST (Maritime Systems & Technology) is the unique annual global trade-show and conference organised by government, research and industry leaders (see: www.mastconfex.com/committee.asp) that unites a truly unique global audience: ‘three-tiers’ of maritime decision makers (holders of senior operational/policy, procurement and research/technology roles).

The inaugural MAST (Sep ’06) attracted over 700 participants from 39 countries. Attendees included chiefs of staff, capability managers, directors of naval operations/planning, defence and naval attaches, ambassadors, naval architects and engineers, technical directors, bid managers and senior industry executives (for examples of attendees download the MAST Review from: www.mastconfex.com)

Most of this year’s exhibitors have already booked for 2007 – Genoa, Italy; Wednesday 14th to Friday 16th November – with many taking larger stands. The MAST 2007 trade-show is already three/four times the size of the first show.

Here’s what just a few industry participants (exhibitors and delegates) said about the event:

“We made a point of contact for agreement to work on a new international submarine cable assembly system and hull penetrator”
- Paula Christina, SEACON Pheonix, USA

“MAST brought together all the right people from the naval defense sector, a very successful "first-in-class" event. We look forward to next year in Genoa.”
- Kathryn Smyth, Economic Intelligence and Marketing Officer, DCN, France

“We met key people from potential new customers for future projects that we can't target on our own”
- Claudia Lowe, Sales & Marketing, Leoni Cable, Germany

“We established new business contacts”
- Carolyn Fray, Marketing Communications, Lockheed Martin, USA

“We got a better understanding of the international maritime domain awareness community”
- Peter Smith, Director Int'l Maritime Domain Awareness Programs, Raytheon, USA

“MAST introduced us to a major contact that we have been trying to meet for ages”
– John Miele, MiCAD Marine, USA

“The MAST conference is extremely worthwhile: our organization is already planning to have a bigger presence next year”
- Jenny Grimsley Speirs, PE NA, Naval Surface Warfare Center, USA

Delegates surveyed during the event (that had attended other conferences this year) rated MAST “Far Superior” or “Superior” in terms of the following: Dedication of the organiser to integrating all participants (87%); Seniority/authority of speakers (78%); Professionalism and helpfulness of the organiser (78%); Value for money of the delegate package (76%). 99% of all respondants stated that they will definitely/almost certainly attend MAST 2007.

Exhibition stands are now available to non-MAST 2006 exhibitors, with several prime locations remaining; so make sure you don’t miss MAST 2007, contact Jackie Baron today for a floor plan (jackieb@eievents.biz; tel: +44 (0)1892 824418).
