With Ofsted’s Early Years Inspection Framework due to be overhauled in April 2013, and free nursery education for two-year-olds expected to be expanded, Children’s Centre leaders and their associated stakeholders must be prepared to maintain high quality services in order to narrow the gap for the most disadvantaged families.
You will take away a wealth of guidance from field specialists and policy experts including:
· Preparing for the upcoming changes to inspection policy and the two-year-old entitlement policy
· Enhancing sustainable practice and advancing leadership of Children’s Centres
· Broadening your understanding of early intervention programmes, evidence-based practice and hear an update from a Payments by Results (PbR) pilot area
· Engaging with parents successfully and developing targeted services to support the most in need
· Improving integrated partnerships between Children’s Centres and health services
