Robin Coady Smith was born in Southampton, New York. She attained her M.B.A. from New York University and began her professional career with Bankers Trust Company in New York. From the 1980’s to 2002, she held various roles with trust companies specifically in investment partnerships, trusts and transfers. She specializes in multi-generational family offices versus private family trust companies. Ms Smith is the Co-Founder and Managing Director at Privatus CI³O Services. She has 25+ years of experience in family wealth management, but among her highest priorities is the ability to listen and explain. Ms. Smith has served as interim head of two private family trust companies and is highly regarded for her expertise as facilitator and collaborator with family members, staff and advisors. She is affiliated with Ivy Plus and, in her free time, enjoys physical fitness and travel.
