Jillianís Billards to Host 2013 Verizon Wireless Arena Granite Bowl Kick-Off Party Food, Fun, Games, Cure Cancer

)-- The 2013 Verizon Wireless Arena will be held at Jillian’s Billiards (Manchester, NH) located at 50 Phillippe Cote St, on March 21. The kick-off party will start at 6 p.m. and will last until approximately 10 p.m. The kick-off party will consist of 50/50 raffles, silent auctions, and fun.
In addition to the kick-off event, the Verizon Wireless Arena Granite Bowl will be making an appearance at the Manchester Monarchs (Manchester, NH) game on Friday, March 15. The staff is selling tickets for $15.00; proceeds are going towards the donation sum. Along with the tickets comes a free slice of pizza voucher. They are accepting teams and hiring referees. They also strongly encourage volunteering.
Early-Bird registration is until 3/10/13 and is $100, regular registration is from 3/11 until 3/25 for $140, and all SNHU team registration until 3/25 is $80.
2013 Verizon Wireless Arena Granite Bowl is proud sponsors with Verizon Wireless Arena, Harris Trophies, Canobie Lake Park, Greater New Hampshire Restaurants, Merchant’s Auto, Southern New Hampshire University, SNHU School of Business, SNHU Student Government Association, and SNHU’s Sport Management Club. The 2013 Verizon Wireless Arena Granite Bowl is a student run flag football tournament that is celebrating is seventh anniversary. As a non-profit organization, funding comes from our generous corporate partners with all the proceeds going directly to Team Emma’s Enchantment and the Tuffy Phelp’s Scholarship.
The fifteen member staff was carefully selected as part of an interview process. The staff is divided into five departments that include marketing, tournament operations, registration, corporate partnership, and volunteer management. Through this event that takes place on the campus of Southern New Hampshire University and The Derryfield School, we continue to strengthen our community ties while helping to find a cure for a rare child brain tumor.
